By accessing or using ControlPPT (controlppt.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
ControlPPT lets you upload a PowerPoint (.pptx) file, generates a short join code, and lets any device with that code remotely control which slide is shown on a presenter's screen in real time. Free accounts may upload 1 deck for free; decks are automatically deleted 30 days after upload unless upgraded.
You retain ownership of any presentation files you upload. By uploading a deck, you grant ControlPPT a limited licence to store and render that file solely to provide the service to you and to anyone you share a join code with. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and share any content you use with ControlPPT, and for anyone you give a join code to.
Anyone with a valid join code can control a live session — joining as a controller requires no account. Do not share a join code with anyone you don't want controlling your presentation. Sessions and codes expire when the presenter ends the session.
You agree not to: - Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates any law - Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its rate limits - Use ControlPPT to distribute malware or harmful content - Share your account credentials with others You must be at least 13 years old to use ControlPPT.
ControlPPT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ControlPPT and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including data loss or a disrupted presentation.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account and decks at any time from your dashboard.
